Denise Renee Montoya

Denise Rose Montoya, 53, of Aztec, died June 19, 2010, in Farmington. Denise was born in Wichita, Kansas on Nov. 4, 1956. Denise graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1975 at Austin, TX. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Aztec with her friend Jo Moat. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. Denise’s wishes for her service were everyone attending to wear their favorite football team jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Sr. and Shirley Rose; grandparents, Neva and Maurice Smith, and Velma and Orville Rose. Denise is survived by her daughters, Stacy Montoya (Senry) and Sondra Fails (Thomas); brothers, Donald Jr. Rose (Darlene) and Darren Rose; sisters, Darla Faul (Steve) and Danette Day (Will); four grandchildren, Angel, Layla, Kade, and Gavyn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Denise Montoya’s memorial funding at Wells Fargo Bank.
