Derick Leonard Maes June 9, 1980 - Sept. 20, 2011 Derick Leonard Maes, 31, of Farmington, was welcomed home to eternal life with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011.
For many years he was a floor covering specialist. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and loving wife, and was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan. He will be eternally missed and loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Maes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shont�?© Maes, and his little mono daughter, Monique Maes; grandmother, Celena Valdez; mother, Patricia Bettini; his brother, Mike Maes; his sister, Celeste Maes; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law, great-nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. We will love you always, Derick. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Word of Life Christian Center, 1500 N. Fairview Ave. in Farmington. Arrangements are with Daniels Family Funeral Services, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, (505) 326-3671.
