Diana Carmona Pantoja

Pantoja, Diana Carmona 

Age 72, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. 

Diana was born on December 19, 1946 to Pat Medina and Adan Carmona in Roswell,NM.

Diana is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gavin and Patricia Pantoja; grandsons, Noah and Aiden Pantoja; sisters, Roberta Solis, Anita Harrison (brother-in-law James), Dollie Lopez (brother-in-law Manuel), her brother Ernie Carmona (sister-in-law Pam), Tandy Bustillos  and step brothers Lloyd, Raymond, Raul, Bruno and Arthur Otero.

Diana also had many nieces and nephews and had a very large extended family throughout Texas, New Mexico and California.  Diana was a connector of relationships as she was the glue of conversations that kept people talking and families connected. In her loving ways, she may have had only one son but she had many kids that she could have called her own and they in return, also called her “Mom.”

Her grandkids were her proud and joy and she enjoyed all the time she could with them as they kept her going 100 miles an hour.

Diana retired from Honeywell after 30 years and had many friends that would later become family. She enjoyed the sounds of Motown and would sometimes just start singing her favorite songs just because she loved the music.

The outpouring love that has come to her family during this time has been unbelievable and only shows the impact that she had on the lives of so many.

She will be missed!

Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.
