Diane passed away peacefully at home after a 7 year battle with cancer with her beloved dog Syd and her husband Bruce at her side. She was a beautiful person, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her sense of humor and adventure made her a delight to be around. She was a strong independent woman who endured extremely difficult times following her divorce. After the divorce she was embraced by all of her in-laws as family. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren who she dearly loved. She loved to travel, never afraid to try new things, overcoming her fear of heights and flying over water. Taking road trips was something she loved to do. We traveled all over the country during our time together. Family always came first, traveling to California to help or getting up in the middle of the night to care for her grandchildren. She enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of wine watching the birds. She was especially fond of the hummingbirds. When we moved to New Mexico she was able to pick out the house of her dreams and make it her own. She fully embraced the culture, cuisine and wines, especially the wines. In the 10 years we lived here we were able to explore the whole state, as long as she was driving. As we mourn her passing, please remember her love and laughter. Also know she has had a joyous reunion in heaven with her loved ones.
