Diane Tipton

Karen Diane Tipton – Diane (80) left this world suddenly on February 20, 2023.  Diane was preceded in death by her parents, H.L. & Louise Tipton. Diane loved to read and had an extensive library.  As an educator, Diane taught Political Science at the college level in New Mexico, Texas and Missouri.  In 1969, while working on her Master’s Degree, the University of New Mexico awarded her a prestigious recognition and published her Thesis.  Diane is survived by her brother, Harry (Buddy) Tipton and his wife Becky; niece Shelley Riddlespurger and husband Gary; nephew Michael Tipton, grand nieces, Regan Barnes and husband Zach; and Lena Riddlespurger. 

Services will be held at St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church, 601 Montano Rd NW on March 23, 2023 at 1:00pm. 

Burial to follow immediately after service at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
