Dominic Romero

Dominic "Dusty" Romero, age 37, passed away February 24, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on March 27, 1984, to Gilbert and Nanette Romero in Albuquerque, NM.

 

He is survived by his parents, his precious sister, Monique; his grandparents, Laurence and Epi Chavez; aunts; uncles; cousins and beloved friends. 

 

 He came into this world with many medical challenges, facing them with courage, grace, and dignity.  When he felt well there was nothing holding him back.  He made us cry, challenging us but mostly making us smile, laugh, long, hard, and uncontrollably.  He came into our lives and made it better by simply being there. 

 

God lent Dominic to us far too long; then sent his angel, who took Dominic by the hand and said “My son, job well done, it's time to come home.”

 

  Life will never be the same. 

 

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown, located at 2600 Louisiana Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87110.
