Donaciano "Tata" Gutierrez

 82, was born on March 6, 1941 in Canoncito Sandia Park NM and went home to be with our Lord on December 10, 2023 due to an illness with Dementia/Alzheimers. He passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side and will be greatly missed.

Donaciano was a very hard worker and instilled that in his children and grandchildren. He was employed by the City of Albuquerque - Solid Waste Department for 30 years, retiring December of 1992.

He is Survived by 3 children:

wife Cecilia, Ruben Gutierrez wife Patricia, 
Christina Gutierrez-Baca and husband Tim; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. 
He is also survived by his brother Reymundo Gutierrez wife Gloria, his sisters Albenita Garcia husband Gilbert and Catalina Maurino. 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Virginia T Gutierrez married on October 3, 1964;
his parents Melcor & Flora Gutierrez; brothers
Hermenes, Gilberto, and Luis Gutierrez.

He was a lifelong member of San Felipe De Neri Parish and San Jose De Los Duranes Mission, he served as an usher for 30 years.

Pallbearers are grandsons Donaciano V Gutierrez, Benjamin Gutierrez, Andrew Gutierrez, Timothy Baca, Christopher Baca, and Isaiah Gutierrez. 

Rosary will be recited on Friday December 15, at 11:00am at San Lorenzo De Cañoncito, 2 Lorenzo Church Rd, Cedar Crest NM 87008.

A second Rosary will be recited on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10:00am followed with a mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30am at San Jose De Los Duranes Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd NW 87104. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
