Donald Arthur Bower

BOWER Donald Arthur Bower, 80, passed away on December 4, 2010. He was born March 16, 1930, to John A. & Clara Mae Bower in Utica, NY. Donald and his wife Regina moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1955 from Rochester, NY. He began his career at KOB, then moving onto Sandia National Laboratories, retiring in 1993 after a 33 year career with them. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Regina; eight children, Steven Bower and wife Gloria, Kenneth Bower and wife Victoria, Richard Bower, Michael Bower, Suzanne Zelinski and husband David, Peter Bower and wife Lisa, Timothy Bower and wife Mitzie, Joanne Page and husband Curtis. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; sister, Sr. Annette Bower, and was preceded in death by one brother, Col. John “Jack” Bower. Rosary will be recited at Daniels Family - Wyoming on Monday, December 6, 2010, at 7:00pm. Mass be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church at 8:30am, private family burial will be held at a later date. In Donald’s memory, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to Casa Angelica, Parkinson’s Society, or to Brothers of the Good Shepherd.
