Donald Marzilli

Graveside services for Donald “Big Don” Marzilli, 66, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, at Citizens Cemetery, Veterans section, Flagstaff, Arizona. Marzilli died Aug. 9, 2010, in Gallup. He was born May 24, 1944, in Gary, Ind. Marzilli was a roofing contractor for 40 years, which took him to Los Angeles, Flagstaff and Gallup. He was a Sergeant in the US Army 10th Special Forces, as a green beret. He received a Good Conduct medal, parachutist badge and sharp shooter for rifle M-14. His hobbies included golfing, computers and he was an avid Yankees fan. Survivors include his sons, Donald F. Marzilli, Toby Tafoya; daughters, Jennifer J. Baca, Melecia C. Chavez; brother, Dennis Marzilli; sister, Sharon Casillas; six grandchildren. Marzilli was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Lorraine Marzilli; wife, Janet “Sister” Marzilli; brothers, Ronnie Marzilli, Darryl Marzilli.
