Donald Mitchell

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Mitchell, 77, of Albuquerque, who passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026.surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, brother, and son. He was a dedicated employee for Bernalillo County Public Works Department for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and history shows.

He is survived by his wife Ginger, son Jason Mitchell, mother Bertha Mitchell, brothers Ronald Mitchell (Holly), Curtis Mitchell (Lorna) and nephew Robert Mitchell (ShiAnn) their sons R.J., Easton, their daughter Sheri Torres (Chris) their children Elijan, Lilly, Gage, Tanessa, their daughter Alexis Lannnholm (Kyler) baby Charlie on the way and cousins Guy Hammons, Gayla Hammons, Michael and LeJean Mitchell and many more cousins in Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his father Donald C. Mitchell, sisters Sandra Wiley and Cynthia Kruikshank, brother Dennis Mitchell and nephew Gary Delome.

Donald’s celebration of life will be held on April 17, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Daniels Family Funerals Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87109. Reception to follow in the reception area at Daniels.
