Nocera, Donald James
Age 80, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017. He was born in New Castle, PA on December 24, 1936, to Ferdinand J Nocera and Anna Lambiase. He was preceded in death by his Parents Ferdinand and Anna Nocera; his brothers John (Johnny) Nocera and William (Willie) Nocera. Donald is survived by his wife; Joan L. Nocera, son; Tyrone James Nocera granddaughters; Jennifer D. Nocera Garcia, Natasha J. Nocera, grandson; Dominic J Nocera, brother; Frank Nocera and 6 great-grandchildren.
Donald attended New Castle High School and graduated in 1955 and then he attended Moorpark Community College and obtained a Associates Degree in 1979. He was married to Joan L. Bratschie on January 7, 1956. They were married for 61 years. He went on and joined the military and served in the US Army National Guard for two years. One of Donald's special accomplishments was to serve with the Ventura County sheriff department as a sheriff for 15 years. He worked at Aerospace and was there for 25 years working as a Technician. He loved NASCAR, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, guns, cars, line dancing and camping.
Service will be held on Wednesday April 5th, at 10:00AM at the Southern Chapel.
