Donald D. Polzin

Donald D. Polzin of Aztec passed at 61 years of age on Monday, December 06, 2010. He was born January 1, 1949 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Donald F. Polzin and Anna Lee (Felix) Polzin. He married Connie L. Sveom June 28, 1969 in Orfordville. WI. Survivors are his wife Connie, a son Kreg Polzin of Farmington; grandchildren Hunter and Aspen Polzin also of Farmington; sister Clydene Schultz of Beloit, WI; brother-in-law Gary (Ellen) Sveom of Footville, WI; sister-in-law Kathy Francis Tremain of Milton, WI; father-in-law Merwin Sveom of Beloit, WI, many nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces and dear friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a son Neil S. Polzin, sister Joyce Straight, mother-in-law Charlotte Sveom and sister-in-law Karen Bremel. Don worked for worked for Wisconsin Power and Light in Wisconsin and PNM in New Mexico for 9 years. Then he started his own family business of U.S. Rotech in 1989 in Farmington. In 1993 Don started an outfitter business. His first love was his family. Don coached his sons little league games. Times he went hunting, fishing, camping or riding a horse but most of all Don enjoyed just spending time with his family and friends. Cremation will take place and memorial services will be Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St. in Farmington with Don’s brother-in-law Gary Sveom officiating.
