Donna Jean Aiken-Stabler

On Wednesday, April 24th, Donna Jean Aiken-Stabler, a beloved mom and widow, passed away. Donna turned 88 years old after her birthday on Saturday, April 20th.  Donna graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1954. She met Sam Aiken while working for the city of Albuquerque and they were married for 40 years. Later in life, Donna married William Stabler on September 30, 2000.

Donna was active with the Prince of Peace Catholic church. She loved being a part of the Prince of Peace community. She was dearly loved by all. Donna loved talking with others and never met a stranger. She could easily have a 30-minute conversation with anyone, only to find out they had just met.  

Donna was known for her kind soul and love for jokes and laughter. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl, son Rich, her grandson Zane, her sister Renee, nieces Tami, Robyn, Rachel, and Laura, and nephew Chad.

Services will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave NE, ABQ, NM 87122, on Friday, May 17th – Rosary at 10:30 AM, Mass at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception at Prince of Peace.
