Donna Kay “Bella” Knight, age 76, died March 30, 2015. She was born April 14, 1938 in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Joseph Paul Adams, Sr. and Ada Feilda  “June” (Jeffords) Adams.  Donna, affectionately known to many as “Bella”, later moved to Colorado where she resided for many years.  For a time, Bella moved to Arizona; later returned to Colorado, and then, became a resident of New Mexico about six years ago. During much of her career life, Bella worked in accounting as a bookkeeper. She was also very passionate about her work as an advocate for veterans and others who were victims of abuse. Wherever she went, Bella was known for spreading love and friendship. Bella is survived by her children; Karla Berlin and husband Harry Whalen, Russ Berlin and wife Marilyn, Fran Greth and husband Doug, six grandchildren; Willow Carter and husband JD, Ivy Couper, Tor Berlin and wife Megan, Shaun Berlin, John Taylor Fuka and Fletcher Fuka, six great grandchildren;  Dell, Ellie, Mason, Zane, Holly and Tory.  Bella is also survived by her sisters and sisters-in-law; Sandy Smith, Fran Adams and Helen Ryan and husband Tom and by nieces; Pam, Kristi, and Jen. Bella was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers; Rocky and Joe and by a son; Rocky.  A Celebration of Bella’s life will take place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Rio Rancho Veterans Monument Park located on Pine Tree Drive SE between the Esther BoneMemorial Library and the Post Office.
