Doreen Michelle Hayden

Doreen Michelle Hayden, age 54, was called home on December 8th, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend to many, Michelle lived a life rooted in compassion, strength, and genuine warmth. Michelle was a dedicated teacher who poured her heart into her students. Her classroom was more than a place of learning—it was a space filled with encouragement, patience, and the belief that every child had potential worth nurturing. Her impact will continue to live on in the countless young lives she helped shape. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, William Medina and Ernestina Medina. She is survived by her beloved son, Luke Hayden, and her devoted and loving husband, Darren Hayden, who were the center of her world. She is also deeply loved and remembered by her mother-in-law Dolores Hayden; her brother-in-law Dwayne Hayden and his wife Pamala; and Larry and Arnetta Hayden, her husband’s uncle and aunt. Michelle is further survived by Rose and Jerry Cordova; Bill and Veronica Medina; Gloria Medina; Sylvia Sue Serbin; and her countless nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Michelle will be remembered for her gentle heart, her steady support for those she loved, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She took pride in every moment spent with those she held close. Though she will be profoundly missed, her presence, her lessons, and her love will continue to live on in all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her legacy—one of kindness, dedication, and love—will never fade.
