Doris Burge Meyer

MEYER- Doris Burge Meyer, 80, a resident of Perelta, NM for over 50 years, passed away on May 23, 2010. Doris Burge Meyer left this life after a short battle with cancer. She left with dignity and the usual Burge pride. Doris is preceded in death by her first husband Bill Burge; daughter Valerie Burge; son Michael Burge. Doris is survived by her husband, organic Joe Meyer, the vegan poodle walker; Pug Burge “the favorite” and her husband, Richard Kinchen “the analyzer”; Bill Burge and wife Jan; Sandy Gasman “the rebel”, Jackie Burge “the Cheerleader”, Robbin Burge “the law dog” and companion Becky Koster and Joseph Meyer “the erector” and wife Nichole. Doris had four grandchildren, Stephanie Hubbell “baby maker”, Brian Burge “slip knot”, Cody Burge “Ms. Hooter Hot” and Arabella Meyer. Doris also had four great grandchildren, Ember, Serena, Cade and Cole Hubbell. Doris was a bookkeeper at UNM School of Medicine for many years as well as belonging to the Moose Lodge #1680 in Belen.
