Dorothy Daphene Harris

Dorothy Daphene Freeman Harris, 95, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, in Farmington. She was born March 28, 1915 in Paris, Texas to Ira and Zollie Freeman. she married Dezmer F. (Slim) Harris on December 24, 1936 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. they moved to Farmington in 11958, and started Four States Electric. Dorothy continued to work at Four States Electric after her husband's death, and retired at the age of 83. She has lived at the Gingrich Home for five years. Dorothy leaves two sons and three daughters, Jack (Joyce) Harris of Flora Vista, Jeanette (Larry) Nichols of Farmington, Diane (Dick) Jones of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Jim (Judy) Harris of Hesperus, Colorado and Donna (Ben) Jenkins of San Angelo, Texas.
