Dorsey Warren Conrad, 84, of Farmington, passed from this life on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, in Farmington. He was born July 12, 1927, in Argyle, Mo., to John and Josephine Conrad. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a land surveyor in Canada and the western United States. He and Jeanetta McDonald were married on Oct. 14, 1960. Together they enjoyed traveling across the country and exploring new and exciting places.
He was employed for 25 years and retired from Oil and Gas Equipment, as well as owning and operating Instrument Repair Service.
He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting, bowling and woodworking. His crafts were enjoyed by many friends, family and neighbors. He is loved and cherished and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by brother, David Conrad; sisters, Jane Echohawk and Silva Crowder. He is survived by his wife, Jeanetta Conrad; sons, Stephen Conrad, Brenton Conrad and Charlie McDonald; daughter, Vicki Wood; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Ministry Lead Chris Cliff will officiate.
Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington.
