Logan, Duane Lee Duane Lee Logan passed away peacefully, Monday, October 15, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family. He lived a long fulfilling life. Duane had a very friendly demeanor and was a loving husband to his wife and great parent to his four children. Duane was born in Kansas City, MO. on August 12, 1926, son of Dewey and Vida. After graduating from High School he joined the Army Air Corps. After serving his country he entered UNM and was president of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. He then went to work in Casablanca, Africa. Upon returning to Albuquerque he married Barbara Voss and worked as a Consulting Civil Engineer. In his youth he was a Eagle Scout and later became a Scout Master. Duane is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; his brother, Merlin and wife Barbara; his children, Doug and wife Leni, Cindy and husband Steve Bohmbach, Sandy and husband Dan Ashenbrenner, Chuck and wife Kitty Richards; nine grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Private family services and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Boys and Girls Ranches of New Mexico.
