He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie L. Smith Sr., and Allie Mae Smith; sons, Alvin Smith and Dennis Smith. Eddie is survived by his wife, of 65 years Verena L. Smith of Albuquerque, NM, daughters, Linda Walker of Albuquerque, NM, Elsa Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Norma Jean and husband, Derwin Price of Albuquerque, NM, Suzette and husband, Arthur Gee of Belen, NM, Geneva Smith of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Trent and wife, Angie Smith of Los Lunas, NM, Bryant Smith of Albuquerque, NM; 18, grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church , 608 Avenida Caesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque. Service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, 11:00 am, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque.
