Edward Allen

Edward Allen passed away on April 29, 2019.  Edward Allen was born in Morristown, NJ to Macon and Olivia Allen.  Edward attended Morristown High School.

Edward served honorably in the NJ and NM Army National Guard and retired from the military. Edward also served four years in the United States Air Force. He attended the NCO School at Indian Gap, PA.

He worked for the City of Albuquerque at the Albuquerque International Airport for 20 years, . He had a varied and colorful career and was loved and respected by all who met him. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Eian Allen; sisters, Constance West, Gertrude Allen, and Elsie Allen; brothers, George Allen, and Richard Allen.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Amber Allen; children, Linda Allen, Christina Allen, Sonya Bitner, and Della Allen; grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Adrian Allen, Yolanda Smith, Chanda Allen, Mariah Mills, Zakeii Allen, Angela Goodman, TyShonna Powers, Isici Leonard Jr., Jason Leonard, Nikkia Mosley,  Michael Rogers Jr., and a score of great-grandchildren.

Edward will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
