Edward A. Harrison

February 29,1936-October 19, 2023

Edward A. Harrison, 87, transitioned peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family after battling a long illness.  Those left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 45 years, Agnes: his children: (from a previous marriage) Sharon Harrison and Karen James; (from current marriage) Philleasha Harris (husband Donnie), Tonya Harrison, Myshyia Whitten (husband Travis) and Thomas Harrison. Grandchildren: Suraya, Taniya, Chyanne, Devyn, Natalie, Cole, Sterling, Ajia, and  Ephrom Edward Whitten.  Great-Grandchildren: Jerimiah and Sincere. His sister Ann Seay and family, Harrisburg, PA.

Edward was born in Harrisburg, PA where he began his career right out of high school when he joined the United States Air Force, June 1955, concluding his military service July 1978.  Edward was a Vietnam Veteran, and he was stationed at many domestic and foreign bases around the world.  One to include Udorn RTAFB, Thailand. After concluding his military service, he continued to serve as a veteran and worked at the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Medical Center from 1978, retiring in 2014.

His love for his FAMILY, LIFE, PEOPLE, AND THE DALLAS COWBOYS was unwavering and felt deeply by all who were blessed to meet him.  His positive outlook on life gave him the gifts of problem-solving, the ability to mediate and an impeccable, strong work ethic.

Many titles were used to describe his beautiful soul: Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Grandfather and Friend. Although, our hearts are saddened with his passing, they are also filled with lasting memories of his laughter, his smile that brightened every room and those deeply ingrained words of wisdom. Edward "Uncle Harry" Harrison left a lasting imprint in all our hearts, for he was truly our gift.
