Edward D. O'Neil

Age 85 , passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 
surrounded by his wife and 3 children. He was born in Pittsfield Mass on October 7th, 1932. Edward graduated Pittsfield High School in 1950 and serving 2 years in the Army.  On November 10th, 1956 he married Barbara Noyes, sharing 61 wonderful years.

Edward served an apprenticeship with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Co in Connecticut and worked there for 17 years. He moved to New Mexico in 1971 where he opened his own company: Triangle Industries. After he sold it he worked for the Dept of Energy until he retired at 62. Edward then became a golf coach at the Academy for five years, his team won the State championship once.  He was a member of the Bear Canyon Golf Assoc, serving as president, won championship in 1972. He was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 49 for 47 years. 
 
He is survived by his 3 children; Christopher O'Neil, Donna Soleo and Kathy O'Neil.  Brother; Jerome O'Neil and sisters; Elizabeth Zeigler and Pamela Scutt. There are 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday February 10th, 2018 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel with reception to follow.
