Ed Regan, 65, of Aztec, died on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, in Farmington, due to complications after cancer surgery. He was born March 21, 1945, in El Paso, Texas, to Edward J. and Betty Regan.
He grew up in the Lower Valley of El Paso. He attended the University of Texas in El Paso. He had a successful career with the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad and moved to Aztec upon his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ed is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Lisa Klassen Taylor and Lori Klassen of Dallas; son, Joe Klassen of Dallas; and brother, Mike Regan of Austin.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at New Life Worship Center, 8121 E. Main in Farmington.
Interment will follow services at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
