Eleanor Lucero

Eleanor “Ellie” Lucero was born June 2, 1930 in Proctor, Colorado and entered Heaven on June 9, 2025.

In 1954 she married the love of her life, Avenancio “Ben” Lucero, and together they raised four children. Ellie lived sweetly, loving her Savior, serving her family, and mentoring others in faith and life at her beloved Sparkle Maintenance, as well as at Calvary church.

She was a living testament to God‘s grace and to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ellie will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful mother, a trusted grandma, and a faithful and precious friend. Her passing leaves a great void in our lives, but we rejoice with the angels that she has now seen the face of God.

Ellie was preceded in death by her husband Ben and her son Carlo.

She is survived by sons Gregory Lucero, Paul (Mary)Lucero , daughter Joy(Mario) Guggino , daughter-in-law Pauline(Carlo) Lucero, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Daniel’s Funeral Home 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109

She will be interred, alongside her darling Ben, in private ceremony, at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
