As of October 10, 2021 Eligio A (Lee) Romo has "Gone Fishing" with the Lord, 3 days before his 75th birthday. He was a happy go lucky and always had a big smile on his face. He was born October 13, 1946 in Taos, NM.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; children: Andrew Romo (Valerie), Lisa Romo (Eppie), Eligio Jr Romo (June), Annette Ortega (Joe) and Adrian Garcia (Valerie); 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother; one sister; and many God children.
Rosary will be recited Tuesday October 26 at 10:15 with a Word Service at 11:00 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW. Reception to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation. Many thanks & blessings to Dr Jose Avitia, staff of New Mexico Cancer Center and New Mexico Hospice for the love and care they gave him.
