Ellen Raye Weber, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital hospice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on January 29, 1940, in Fairdale, North Dakota, to George and Edna Ormiston.

Ellen and her husband Tom Lipinski shared 37 loving years together. She found joy in arts and crafts, feeding the hummingbirds that visited her home, and caring for her beloved pets. Ellen loved having hummingbird feeders throughout her backyard and took great pleasure in watching them gather each day. Dogs held a special place in her heart, especially her cherished Lhasa Apso companions.

She is survived by the love of her life, husband, Tom Lipinski of Rio Rancho; her son, Michael Weber of Rio Rancho; her brother, Glen Ormiston; her brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sherry Ormiston; her sister and brother-in-law, Shari and Rich Misbach of Rio Rancho; her niece and nephew-in-law, Jami and Mike Shelly of Rio Rancho; her nephews and nieces-in-law, Bryan (Koryn) Misbach and Chad (Krista) Misbach of Rio Rancho, who lovingly called her “Auntie”; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Avie.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna Ormiston, and her brother, George Ormiston.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Ellen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellen’s memory to the Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Rescue.
