Emile Arthur Goret

Emile A. Goret, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, January 5, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Emile was born on May 26, 1945, in Marin, CA, to Lemuel and Virginia (Chavez) Goret.  He was a graduate of Socorro High School and received his master’s degree at New Mexico State University.

Emile is survived by his son Clay Goret, wife Elena and granddaughter Emily Goret; son Kyle Goret and grandchildren Miranda and Kira Goret, daughter Tanya Goret, partner Tom Stidstone and grandchildren Shelbi Goret and Shania Mishoe and great grandchildren Everleigh and Braiden Jarrett.  Emile is preceded in death by his parents, sister Millie, wife Ginny Goret and partner Jodi Clark.

Emile was a longtime resident of Socorro, where he was a general contractor for many years.  Emile was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Emile will be missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
