Emma DeYapp Ward, 88 of Farmington, passed from this life on Monday, September 6, 2010. Emma was born December 21, 1921 to Lena Rivas DeYapp and Clarence DeYapp in Chama, NM. Visitation for Emma will be from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington. A second Visitation for Mrs. Ward will be from 9:00 - 10:00 am on Friday, September 10 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chama, followed by the Rosary at 10:00 am and Mass of the Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Chama Cemetery. A Reception will be held at the Gymnasium in Chama. Arrangements are entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington (505) 327-5142.
