In Loving Memory of Enriques Casaus
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enriques Casaus, who peacefully entered eternal rest on May 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on July 27, 1942, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, to Alfonso and Genoveva Casaus, Enriques lived a life defined by hard work, creativity, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. A gifted craftsman, he took great pride in his work and left behind a legacy that can be seen in the many projects he created with care and dedication.
Family was the center of Enrique’s world. He was a devoted husband to Bertina Casaus, with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a proud father to Deborah Archibeque and her husband, Gil Archibeque, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Donald Casaus and his wife, Catherine Casaus, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Denise Casaus of San Diego, California.
Enriques was also a beloved grandfather to Eric Casaus, Matthew Archibeque, Baby Gil Archibeque, Merisa Casaus, Jake Casaus, Gage Casaus, and Luke Casaus. His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
One of Enrique’s greatest joys was Christmas. He looked forward to the holiday all year and took pride in making it special for those he loved. Nothing brought him more happiness than seeing his family gathered together, sharing laughter, creating memories, and celebrating the season. His generosity and enthusiasm made Christmas a treasured tradition for all who knew him.
Enriques also enjoyed art, woodworking, fishing, dancing, listening to music, storytelling, and spending time with family. Known for his sense of humor and welcoming spirit, he had a remarkable ability to make others feel at home and brought warmth wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Matthew Archibeque; his parents, Alfonso and Genoveva Casaus; his sister, Maria Oldman; his brother, Leroy Casaus; and his sister, Geraldine Roybal.
Funeral service information will be shared at a later date.
