Eric Daniel Cano

Eric Daniel Cano, age 47, passed away on 3/28/22 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Tony Cano. He is survived by his siblings: twin brother, Stephen Cano (Sarah Orona), Lisa Chavez (Janet Armijo), Lloyd Cano Sr. (Betty Cano), Anissa Griego (Eugene Briones), and Rhio Griego (Joanie Walter); nephews and nieces: Richard and Alexander Walker, Aiden Cano-Duran, IslaRose and EmmaRose Briones, Lloyd Cano Jr., Isaac Cano, and Marissa Rodriguez as well as great-niece and nephew Isabella and Richie Walker. He is also survived by his special “auntay” Donna Prado and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. And we can’t forget his beloved fur baby, Buggy, who he loved more than anything. Eric was loved by so many and had a great sense of humor. If you knew Eric, then you know he was ALL about Madonna and was her #1 fan. He also loved movies, music, art, and was an avid reader. He worked for Albertson’s for many years and then as a surgical tech for UNMH and Presbyterian Rust Medical Center for the last several years where he made many good friends along the way. Eric will always be remembered as a funny, gentle, and kind man who always had a smile on his face. We are heartbroken that he had to leave us so soon, but we know that he is at peace. Rest easy, Brother; we will forever love and miss you.
