Esther G Martinez

MARTINEZ- Esther G. Martinez, 85, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on December 11, 2009. She was born on October 20, 1924 to Alejandro and Teofila Gonzales of Corrales, NM. Esther is survived by a daughter, Georgia Johnson (Jeff) of Durango, Co.; daughter, Audrey Martinez (Paul Getz) of Los Ranchos; son, Dennis Martinez (Vada) of Westminster, Co.; granddaughter, Sophia Johnson; grandson, Dustin Martinez (Christine Hiatt); and granddaughter Miquela Martinez. Esther is also survived by a sister, Cecelia Lloyd of Reserve, NM. Although Esther retired from the APS athletic accounting office and went on to work at a local attorney's office, her greatest purpose in life and what she most greatly excelled at was being a loving mother.
