Eugene L. Fischer

FISCHER �?¯�?¿�?½�?¯�?¿�?½“ Eugene L. Fischer, age 77, of Corrales, died Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born on August 18, 1932 in Lincoln, Kansas and lived in Corrales for more than 30 years. He joined the Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict and a proud member of the VFW #5432, Horacio Martinez Post. He was a hard worker and immensely enjoyed his career in HVAC. Mr. Fischer was President of Lutherhaven and devoted much of his time to building the retreat in the Jemez Mountains. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sharon; daughters, Vickie and husband Brian Bacon, Julia and husband John Landon, Claire Steele and partner Kenny Schulz, Royce and husband Rob Burki and Alice Fischer; grandchildren, Jesse, Ben, Nicole, Briana, Mariah and Elizabeth and sister Eunice and husband Wes Nierman. He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Abigail and Anne and two brothers, Lyle and Loren Fischer. Special thanks to Peter Trujillo.
