Eula Elizabeth Bolson

Eula Elizabeth Bolson, 89, passed away March 22, 2010. Funeral services were held on March 26, 2010 at Minnis Chapel in St. John, KS. with burial following at Farmington Cemetery in Macksville, KS. She was born in Neal, KS on August 13. 1920 to Thomas Riley and Jesse Agnes (Brown) Gilbert. Of 8 brothers and sisters, she is survived by one sister, Ruth Lindamood, in Eureka, KS. In July of 1939 she married Howard Henry Bolson. They spent many years farming and ranching in Kansas and Missouri. He preceded her in death August 5, 1988. Eula is survived by her 6 children, Lloyd Bolson and wife Kathleen of Brighton, CO Gilbert Bolson of Hutchinson, KS Doris DeBelle of Idaho Linda Swinney and husband Robert of Grand Junction, CO Diana Karraker of Aurora, CO Carol Weber of Rio Rancho, NM 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Eula enjoyed music, knitting, crocheting, cooking and canning. She enjoyed raising a garden and spent much time in it. Donations can be made to the Macksville Christian Church in Macksville, KS.
