Eulalio "Lalo" DeHerrera, age 87, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of both Cuba and Albuquerque. Lalo was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacobo and Juanita DeHerrera; sisters, Emma Sigmon and Anna Jaramillo. Eulalio is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Agatha DeHerrera of the family home; his children, Sylvia Doris (Ray) Gonzales, Patsy Sandoval ( Benito Jacquez), Edward (Heidi) DeHerrera, Christine (Timothy L.)Gregg; his precious grandchildren, OraNell (Pete) Mirabal, Raphael Perea (Tanya Kuffler), Shantel Montoya (Louie Salazar), Ben (Candace) Sandoval, Trish Sandoval (Anthony Gonzales), Andrea Gregg and Timothy C. Gregg; eleven great-grandchildren, Andres Sandoval, Marcus Mirabal, Makayla Mirabal, Avangeleen Perea, Xzavier Perea, Jacob Salazar, Jenasey Salazar, Zion Sandoval, Miles Sandoval, Isaac Angel, and Angelo Gonzales. Also surviving are his siblings, Elodia Valdez (George), Kate Rivera (Roy), Felimon DeHerrera, Jake DeHerrera (Helen), Willie DeHerrera (Viola), and Elden DeHerrera (Pat); brother-in-laws, Gilbert Jaramillo, Clyde Sigmon; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Lalo will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will also be on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM, followed by a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Sandoval, Raphael Perea, Timothy C. Gregg, Andres Sandoval, Marcus Mirabal, and Isaac Angel. Honorary Bearers will be OraNell Mirabal, Trish Sandoval, Shantel Montoya, Andrea Gregg, Makayla Mirabal, Angelo Gonzales, Zion Sandoval, Miles Sandoval, Avangeleen Perea, Xzavier Perea, Jacob Salazar, and Jenasey Salazar.
