August 10, 1957 — December 26, 2025

Evelyn Louise Aragon, lovingly known as Ebby, was born on August 10, 1957, and went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Evelyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was an incredibly strong, loving, generous, and compassionate woman whose life reflected her deep and unwavering commitment to her faith. Evelyn found great joy in reading her daily scripture and sharing God’s word with her family and friends. Her faith was her foundation, and she lived it boldly and lovingly.

She was joyful, energetic and enthusiastic, with a spirit that uplifted everyone around her. Evelyn’s kindness, warmth, and devotion left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Aretha Sanchez and Jamie Aikins; her five grandsons, Michael and Damian Vargas, and Jerron, Jayden, and Jordan Aikins; and her son-in-law, Jerone Aikins. She is also survived by her sisters, Sarah Montoya (Steve Montoya), Erica Medina (Victor Navarro), and Yolanda Medina (Juan Rubio); her brother, Robert Sanchez; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Philip Aragon; her parents, Richard and Linn Sanchez; and her brothers, Eugene Sanchez, Michael Medina, Andrew Medina, and Eric Medina.

Evelyn will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:8
