James died June 22, 2010 in Gallup. She was born June 8, 1908 in Sundance, New Mexico. She was born in the Towering House People clan for the Bitter Water
clan. She attended Rehoboth Mission School and was a member of Rehoboth Christian
Church. She received an award for weaving the Christian Reformed Church Rug.
Her hobbies included weaving, crocheting and sewing. She did ranch work, taking
care of cattle and herding sheep. James enjoyed doing word search puzzles and reading her Navajo Bible. Survivors include her sons, Gerald Lee James, Delbert James. Daughters Eunice Aletta
James, Julia Ann Nelson, Angeline Rose Dale, Pearl Rhonda Allen. Sisters Mollie Pete,
Priscilla Hale, Angeline Tso and Christine Tso. Pallbearers are Anthony Cadena, Augustine Trujillo, Justin Trujillo, Aaron Dale, Michael
