Everisto Martinez, age 89, passed away peacefully while in his asleep on January 24, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on December 8, 1932, to Samuel Martinez and Amalia Pino in Tijeras, NM. He resided in New Mexico most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Ulibarri, of 50 years.
He is survived by his sons, Everett D. Martinez and his wife, Jeanette Martinez, David E. Martinez, and Danny E. Martinez; grandchildren, Aaron Dean Martinez and Amanda Lynn Martinez; grandchild, Angelica Lynn Martinez.
Everisto honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He will be deeply mourned by his family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans Organization.
