Faye Cumpton

CUMPTON- Faye Cumpton, 65, passed away on August 20, 2009, after losing her courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Faye was born in Clovis, NM and lived in both New Mexico and New York all her life. She recently moved back to New Mexico in 2006 to be closer to her family members after losing a son here. The love that she had and shared with animals showed as she continued to be a Professional Dog Groomer up until her illness stating in 2008. She is survived by her children, Sam Garrell and his wife Jacqueline, of Albuquerque, NM, Ryan Stelzig and his wife Rhonda, and their children, Taryn and Caleb, of Albuquerque, NM, Madonna Stelzig, and her children, Derek and Desiree, of Trenton, GA; her three brothers, Billie Bob, Greg and Tom, and their families. Many nieces, nephews, and friends will greatly miss Faye. Preceding her in death was her son, Rondy Biggs; and her sister, Lisa Moore. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or Animal Humane Society.
