Felipe Castillo Sr.

Felipe Castillo Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 13, 2025, in Socorro, New Mexico. He was a Socorro resident for 25 years. Felipe truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; playing baseball, singing at family reunions, boxing trainer, fishing and traveling.

Felipe is survived by his wife of 57 years Carlota Perez de Castillo, children Felipe Jr. (Clarita), Clara (Hector), Jorge (Randy) and Moises (Rebecca), grandchildren; Abel, Kristy, Isaac, Moises Jr., Tatjana, Pete (Christine), Richard (Kayla), Jeremy (Brianda), great grandchildren Israel, Amelia, Mario, Nathaniel, Arianna, Gabriel, Marcos, Bella, Mila, Lupe, Kyla, Miguel, Natalie, Jerome, Nayomi, Aracely, Jeremy Jr., and great-great Grandchildren Emilia, and Alia Lynn.

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral-Socorro Chapel located on 309 Garfield St. Socorro, NM 87801.
