Felix Gutierrez

Felix Gutierrez, age 63, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Friday, January 10, 2014. He was born in Placitas, NM on November 2, 1950, and was a resident of Mountainair, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Gregorita Gutierrez; great-grandson, Jonah La Cour. Felix is survived by his children, Felix R. Gutierrez, Nathan Gutierrez and Jennifer Lucero and husband Joe; six grandchildren; his siblings, Herman Gutierrez and wife Mary, Candy Reams and husband Paul, Logie Lucero and husband Alex, Victor Gutierrez and wife Dorothy, Carmen Valdez and husband Luciano, Pepe Grauf, Frances Candelaria and husband Gilbert and Jane Mujica, Joe Gutierrez and wife Debbie, Joyleen Estrada, Rick Gutierrez and wife Lorraine ; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Felix will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Antonio Mission, Placitas, NM. Casket Bearers will be Gilbert F. Candelaria, Marco Gutierrez, Alcario Castro, Leon Lucero, Luciano Valdez, Nathan Gutierrez and Jennifer Lucero. Inurnment will take place Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Placitas Catholic Cemetery.
