Age 45, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Socorro, NM. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 11, 1970, to Richard V. and Louisa Gallegos Lopez. Felix graduated from Socorro High School and received his BA degree in Social Work from CNM college in 2004. He then received his Masters degree in 2006, graduating with honors. Felix worked a lot with the courts and also with CYFD. He was a very compassionate and loving person who was always willing to help anyone that needed it. He was a very patient and kind person and loved to travel. He especially enjoyed his travels to Greece and he was very interested in their history. Felix was a devoted family man and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Felix and Rosa Lopez; his maternal grandparents, Anacleto and Christina Gallegos; and his uncles, Artie and Herman Gallegos. Felix is survived by his spouse, Steven Lopez-Mull Sr.; children, Michael L. Lopez-Mull, Steven C. Lopez-Mull Jr., Joaquin S. Lopez-Mull, and Stefanie K. Lopez-Mull; parents, Richard and Louisa Lopez; brother, Richard V. Lopez II and wife, Stacie; sisters, Stefanie C. Lopez and husband, Ian Mackaness, and Lucinda A. Lopez and husband, Stephen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, E.B. and Sandy Mull Jr.; nieces and nephews, Andrew Lopez Mackaness, Serena Lopez Mackaness, Esperanza Lopez, Patrick Lopez and Dylan Lopez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm at San Miguel Catholic Church,403 El Camino Real, Socorro. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 9:00 am at San Miguel with Father Edgar Sanchez as Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Michael Lopez-Mull, Steven Lopez-Mull Jr., Joaquin Lopez-Mull, Ian Mackaness, Andrew Lopez and Richard Lopez II. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Lopez, Patrick Lopez, Dylan Lopez, Esperanza Lopez and Stefanie Lopez-Mull. Cremation will take place and inurnment will be at a later date.
