Florence K. Snee

Snee, Florence Katherine 
Age 83, of Rio Rancho, NM. Passed away Monday, January 7, 2019. She was born in New York City, NY on September 26, 1935, to Joseph and Bertha Robinson.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Snee; brothers, William, Joseph, and Thomas Robinson; sisters, Evelyn Beauchmin and Barbara McCourtney.

Florence is survived by her sons, Robert (Desiree) Maher of North Richland Hills, TX, Kenneth Maher of Rio Rancho, NM and Jim (Tammy) Snee of Austin, MN; daughters, Denise and Donna Maher of Rio Rancho, NM; brothers, James (Linda) and John Robinson; 4 grandchildren. 

Florence graduated from St. Monica's Catholic School in New York City. She married James Francis Snee in 1966. They were happily married for 20 years. Florence worked for the Board of Elections in NYC from 1955 to 1965 and was an Entrepreneur of NYC Hot Dogs from 1975 - 1985. She was a caregiver to extended family members and friends. Loved visiting her grandkids, nieces and nephews. Florence was very passionate about politics. She was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019  -  4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Memorial Service to follow.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  on Friday, January 11, 2019 - 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124. 

Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM,
   
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Florence's honor to Ronald McDonald House, Albuquerque, NM.
