Flossie Leone Roberts, age 94, passed away at her home in Albuquerque, NM on February 18, 2022.  Flossie, the daughter of the late Katherine (Guthrie) and Harold Murphy, was born in Fort Leavenworth, KS on July 4, 1927.  Flossie was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and loving husband of 79 years, Lester F. Roberts.  She is survived by her 7 children, daughters, Katherine Roberts (Clint Andreson) of Albuquerque, Carol Silvoy (Mike) of Reading, PA, Sharon Roberts of Albuquerque, sons, Lester Roberts lll of Serafina, NM, Harold Roberts (Susan) of Spanaway, WA, Fred Roberts (Teri) of Albuquerque and Mark Roberts (Julie) of Lacey, WA.  She is also survived by  8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Flossie was a much loved lady in the communities she lived and volunteered in.  She loved children and spent many, many hours volunteering in local schools in her former home of Truth or Consequences, NM and her home in Albuquerque, NM. She was the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards. She enjoyed time spent with her family, helping people whenever she could, baking cookies and sharing them, a trip to the mall with her daughters, walking, and talking to those around her.

Flossie prayed faithfully every day and attended church whenever she could and always shared her happiness for everyone’s special moments in life.  While this loss is so sad for all of us,  our hearts are comforted knowing she is with the love of her life to continue their love story.
