Frances Aileen Wilson Ealey

Frances Aileen Wilson Ealey, 88, was joyfully reunited with her cherished husband on Aug. 7, 2008, in Farmington, surrounded by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren."Aileen" was born April 24, 1920, in Belen to George Hamilton Wilson and Nora Lee Seimering Wilson, the fourth of nine children.She met her future husband, Harold Ealey, at a dance in Pagosa Springs, Colo., and they were married Dec. 26, 1938, in La Jara, Colo. This marriage was sealed for time and all eternity on Oct. 2, 1939, in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.To this union were born five children, Cora Marie, Linda Loraine, Harold Lynn, Dennis Trent and Connie Joy.Aileen was a woman of many talents and enjoyed sharing those talents with others. She learned how to make jeans, jackets, lingerie and many other items, and taught many others how to do it. She decorated wedding cakes. She made chocolates and the best French bread. She painted in oils, made ceramics, taught crochet and knitting, just to name a few.She was active in her church and filled many positions in the Primary, Genealogy, Library, Mutual organization, Junior Sunday School and as a Stake Missionary. But her greatest love was the Relief Society. She served many years as a work meeting leader, as ward Relief Society president and in the Stake Relief Society. She loved and lived by the Relief Society motto, "Charity Never Faileth."Aileen was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Marie; her parents; her brother, William (Bill) Wilson; and sister, Dorothy Erickson. She is survived, and will be greatly missed by, her children, Loraine (Lee) Thomas of Florence, Ariz., Lynn Ealey of Farmington, Dennis (Marty) Ealey of Grand Junction, Colo., and Connie Dibble of Farmington; her brothers, George Wilson of La Jara, Colo., Earl Wilson of Granite Bay, Calif., Loyd Wilson of Redwood City, Calif., and Watson Leon Wilson of Lakewood, Wash.; and sisters, Clarissa (Tish) Whitney of Santa Ana, Calif., and Ruth Bailey of Alamosa, Colo. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
