Frances Peggy Wood, a longtime resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, with family by her side.
Born in Vaughn, New Mexico on Saturday, October 15, 1938, to Lee and Josephine Sisneros. Frances is preceded in death by her husband George A. Wood and daughter Tracy J. Wood.
She is survived by daughter Adele Tedesco (Tony) of New York City, son Matthew Wood (Dolores), Daughter Jean Davis (Matt), along with six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Frances never met a stranger and always enjoyed being in the company of others. She had an uncanny ability to remember past experiences in great detail. She would pass these stories on to family and friends which often led to entertaining conversations and frequently a lot of laughs. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Frances will never forget her. We will miss her presence.
