Frank Joseph Alderete

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Brother, Frank Joseph Alderete, age 65 who went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2024, after a 2 year long battle with Renal cancer. Frank was born November 13, 1958, to Porfirio and Rebeca Alderete in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he attended Manzano High School and graduated in 1977 and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Frank was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Raiders, Celtics, and the NM Lobos. He loved spending time with family, grilling and telling stories; he will be missed.

Frank is survived by his mother, Rebeca S. Alderete; three siblings, Alan A. Alderete and spouse Christine M. of Rio Rancho, NM, Cynthia A. Shoemaker and partner Adrian Mensay, and Brenda C. Titcomb and spouse Walter K. Titcomb III; along with nine Nieces/Nephews and nine great Nieces/Nephews and close lifelong friends who played important roles in his life.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Porfirio Alderete.

Rest in peace, dear brother. Your strength, courage, and love will forever be remembered and cherished by all whose lives you’ve touched.

Celebration of his life will be held at Daniels Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87109, from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm on March 29, 2024. Reception to follow.
