Gary Thomas Griego

Gary Thomas Griego age 50 passed away Monday, February 25, 2019.  He was born in Clovis, NM on February 19, 1969.

Gary is survived by his wife, Cynthia Griego; daughter, Juliana Griego; grandchildren, Christopher James and Olivia Valdez; Father ,Waldo Griego; Mother, Rose (Richard) Stamm; sisters, Lori Griego and Erica (Moises) Valdez, niece, Emma Valdez, nephew, Moises Valdez Jr.;  and his brother, John Griego.

He is also survived by his father-in-law, Sammy Maes; mother-in-law Betty Maes; sister-in-law, Francine (Casey) Thompson, niece, Adalyn Thompson, nephew, Gage Thompson; brother-in-law, Andrew Maes (fiancé, Tiffany Tafoya) and niece, Melody Maes.

Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Griego (surviving wife Hethr Griego, children, Candace Griego, Janessa Griego, Matthew Delgadillo)

Gary was a kind, loving, passionate, caring, funny and well loved man.  He graduated from Santa Fe High School.  He later graduated from TVI in Albuquerque, with a degree in Electron Microscopy, where he continued his 32 year long career in the field, in both Houston TX and their beloved New Hampshire. Gary moved his family back to Albuquerque in 2006.  Gary enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, camping with his family, and his pets. Gary was a devoted New England Patriots fan.

Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, located at 131 Cathedral Pl, Santa Fe, NM 87501. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am, and Mass to follow at 11:00 am, with an Interment at Rosario Cemetery
