Genevieve Johnson

Genevieve Johnson passed away on September 16, 2018, at the age of 96 years.

Genevieve is survived by her daughter Maureen Robertson (Tim). Genevieve will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kristen Almgren (Kevin), Nancy Grable, Ted Johnson, Mike Johnson (Dana), Jenipher Sollars (James) and Kevin Montoya who all viewed her home as the most comfortable, welcoming place on earth. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Genevieve was born and raised in New York, the daughter of William and Mary Grace (Hopkins), she left school at an early age to help raise her 9 siblings. She went on to marry her husband Theodore Johnson in 1942. Together, they raised 5 children.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theodore Johnson, Sr., her children Patricia Miller, Theodore Johnson, Jr., William Johnson, Lynn Montoya (Gary), and her granddaughter Kelly Ribail.

Services will be on Sunday, September 23 at Daniels Family Funeral Home, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery in Bernalillo, NM.
