George Washington Garcia

George Washington Garcia (83), Husband, Father, and Grandfather, was embraced by Our Lord on May 28, 2026. He is survived by his Wife of 56 years Cathy Garcia, Daughter Victoria Garcia, Son James Garcia & Wife Gretchen Garcia. George’s four grandchildren Senna Garcia, Keane Rio Garcia, Florent Garcia and Carmelita Garcia were all the drive of his life. He is also survived by his siblings Ramona Baca, Frances Gomez, Olivia Enriquez & Husband Mike (CA.), Viola Rodriguez (TN.), John Garcia & Wife Ruth (NM). Consequently he leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

George was preceded in death by his parents Flavio & Clorinda Garcia from Willard, NM. Coming from a family of 13 children, George was preceded in death by siblings: Benny, Amalia, Severo, Eva, Tony, Eloy and Amy. A mass for George will be at 10 am Friday June 19th at Risen Savior 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE 87109. Pallbearer for mass is Keane Rio Garcia. Following the mass, we will gather next door (7601 Wyoming) at Daniel’s Family Funerals for a celebration of life. Following the celebration, family and friends are invited to the family’s home for coffee. Burial will be held in Willard, NM, on July 18th at 11am.
